This weeks Mid-Week Motivator touches me deep in my heart.  Today we have to say goodbye to an important member of our family, Aussie.

Unplanned, he joined our family on August 1st, 2000.  Our previous dog had been found run over the day before and my husband Andrew & I had said we would take our time  looking for a new dog as we wanted to be sure we got the right dog for us (we did not have kids yet).  Then we were in town and saw a sign posted saying “Dogs To Give Away” and we could not resist at least going to have a look.  Well of course there was no way we could come home empty handed!  And now here we are today, almost exactly 14 years later knowing that we have put this day off long enough.  We will miss Aussie greatly and it will be very hard to say goodbye but we know we are doing the right thing.

So today’s Mid-Week Motivator is in honor of our old boy, Aussie!  We will miss you old boy….
